Ricky L. George, age 51, died at 12:51 pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at his home.
He was born on June 7, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert and Charalee (Lovelady) George.
Ricky married Bonnie E. McLain on July 23, 1995 in East Alton, IL. She survives
He was a Laborer for 12 years in the river bend area.
He is survived by his wife; Bonnie George, father; Robert George of St. Ann, Mo. three sons; Joshua George, Nathan George, and Benjamin George all of East Alton, three daughters; Jessica and her spouse Christopher Huges of East Alton, Rosemarie George of East Alton, and Sarah Carr of Washington, D.C. two brothers; Rodney George of Fenton, MO, and Robert George Jr. of St. Ann, MO, one sister; Frances and her spouse Steve Aubuchon of St. Ann, MO. three grandchildren; David Hughes, Arianna Hughes and Christopher Kowalczyk.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother Charalee George, and an uncle, Charles Lovelady.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home, in Alton, with the funeral service prior to the visitation at 4 pm, Sunday July 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Pastor Lee Jackson will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded per his wishes.
