Ricky A. Varble, 53, passed away at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on February 16, 1957 in Staunton, IL the son of Howard M. & Eiko (Osawa) Varble.
He married T. Diane Ontis on May 22, 1976 in Alton. She survives.
He was a parts man for Mike’s Inc in South Roxana and EMD Specialist for 15 years.
He lived all his life in the Grafton area and enjoyed camping.
He loved his family and will be missed by his wife, Diane Varble of Grafton; one son, Travis Varble and his companion, Cassandra Hedrick of Elsah; one daughter and son-in-law, Tone` M. & Jason Stewart of Cottage Hills; nine grandchildren, Trenton, Conor, Rylee, and Tyler Varble, Kaylee Marrs, and Jacob Stavanis, Kida Varble and Josaline & Wesley Stewart; one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda & Dallas Clines of Kissimmee, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Stacy Lynn Varble.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tues. December 7, 2010 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey where funeral Services will be held at 10 am Wednesday December 8, 2010 with Rev. Bob Blaine officiating.
Memorials may be made to Diane Varble.
Burial will follow at Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton.
