Rhonda Renee McRaven, 54, died at 9:43 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at her home. Born September 30, 1962 in Litchfield, IL she was the daughter of Violet (Sloane) Walls of Alton and the late Martin Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of Abundant Life Community Church. On December 22, 1978 she married Jeff W. McRaven. He survives. Also surviving are three daughters, April Gavin (Megan) of Chicago, Lee McRaven (Tim Gutierrez) of Godfrey, and Brandi McRaven of Godfrey, one son, Bryan McRaven of Godfrey, two grandchildren, Timothy Gutierrez Jr. and Katelyn Kelly-McRaven, and one brother, Martin Dean Collins of Carlinville. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Andrea Collins. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend Roy Rhodes will officiate.
