Reba Parker

Reba Florence Parker, age 70 of Hillsboro, MO, died Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her home in Hillsboro, MO.

She was born on Wednesday, November 24, 1954, in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Dewey and Georgia (nee Hulvey) Murphy.

She was a member of Teamsters Local #525, Alton, IL (former Shop Steward).

Reba was born in Oakland, CA, at age 16 her family moved to Illinois. She graduated from Worden High School in 1972. After graduating she worked for Roller Derby Manufacturing in Litchfield, IL; Stuckey's in Highland; Highland Supply in Highland and then drove a school bus for the schools in Highland for 25 years. She retired in November of 2021. Reba moved to Missouri in December of 2021. She loved her car, a Chrysler 300C. Reba adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

  • Grandchild - Melissa D. Jascur, Highland, IL
  • Grandchild - Michael G. Jascur, Highland, IL
  • Grandchild - Logan C. Jascur, Grantfork, IL
  • Grandchild - London P. Jascur, Grantfork, IL
  • Brother - Nathan D. Murphy, CA
  • Sister - Charlotte L. (Tony) Dobrinich, TX

She was preceded in death by:

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

A Memorial Service will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Dr. Scott Busacker, Pastor, Hope Lutheran Church of Highland, IL, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses, please make payable to Michael D. Jascur.
