Raymond C. Inman, 84, passed away at 10:15 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2010, at his residence. He was born on January 26, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Joseph and Veda P. (Speer) Inman. Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law: Carlene and Phillip Walker of Carlinville, Illinois, Gail and Steven Lefler of Holiday Shores, Illinois, Nancy Inman of Englewood, Colorado, one son: Rick Inman of Carpenter, Illinois, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
He was formerly employed at Bemis Bag Company. He was an Industrial Engineer at Crunden-Martin Manufacturing prior to his retirement. He attended Open Door Fellowship Church in Alton. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Kevin Inman.
Visitation will be from 4pm until time of funeral services at 7pm on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Rev. A.J. Maggos and Rev. Paul Maggos will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Bolinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested to Open Door Fellowship Church, 929 Milnor Avenue, Alton, Illinois.
