Rachel Diane Thompson, 49, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
She was born on March 9, 1975, in Jerseyville, IL, the daughter of Gary and Elaine (Scheffel) Turner.
Rachel was a clerk at Phillips 66 in West Alton. She enjoyed bowling, throwing darts, playing bingo and she could always be found at the slot machines. She loved experimenting with out of the box recipes, but her favorite desserts to bake were monkey bread and cookies.
She was always carefree and spontaneous, from having a shot of Fireball to her contagious laugh. Rachel was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Gary and Elaine; three daughters, Taylor Lott of Wood River, IL, Mikayla Lott of Wood River, IL. And Chloe Lott of Jerseyville, IL; two sisters Tracy (Scott) Rothe and Stacy (Nelson) Erb.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton, IL.
