Rachel Biggerstaff, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her home.
Born Apr. 17, 1951 in Hartsville, S.C., she was a daughter of Thomas H. Vance, Jr. and Janie B. (Moore) Vance.
She married Finnis “Ray” Biggerstaff Sept. 28, 1984 in Georgia. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2005.
She had worked at Bluff City Minerals and H & R Block, and was also a Cub Scout leader.
Survivors include her son Bryan Biggerstaff of Wood River and a sister, Jeanette Eberhart of South Carolina; and friends Diana and James Williams of Alton.
