Phyllis A. Dial, 76, was called home at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Heath Center in Alton. She was born August 25, 1936 in Fidelity, IL the daughter of the late Harry and Myrtle Mae (Plato) Milner. She was retired from Mead Packaging in Godfrey where she worked in quality control. She enjoyed raising her children, being a den mother, volunteering at school for her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed collecting bells. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Fosterburg. She married Frank Truman Miller and he preceded her in death. Her husband, Clifford Wayne Dial whom she married on September 29, 1983 in Hickman, KY will miss her greatly. Also surviving are two daughters; Suzanne “Sue” Stone and her husband Pastor Mark Stone of Godfrey, Tina Zarichniak and her husband David of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, four sons; Jimmy Miller and his wife Marla of Farmington, MO, Donald Miller and his wife Sylvia of Ventura CA, Clifford Dial II and his wife Roxanne of Cottage Hills, and Jonathon Dial and his wife Tiffany of Meadowbrook, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, three sisters; Bonnie Wren of Godfrey, Frances Boren of Nebo, IL and Marilyn Dykeman of Houston, TX. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Zion Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Fosterburg with Pastor Mark Stone to officiate. Burial will be at Kane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons; Anthony Stone, Seth Luebbert, Wayne Zarichniak, David Smith, Adam Miller and Brian McBride.
