Penny Jo Bodine, 81, died at 7:35 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Jerseyville Manor.
She was born March 7, 1944 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Hand) Losch. Penny worked for many years as a secretary with SIUE.
Surviving are one daughter, Traci Bodine Walker of Edwardsville, two grandchildren, Eli Walker and Malachi Walker, one brother, Michael Thomas Losch and one daughter in law, Lisa Bodine and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Mont Everett “Flea” Bodine IV, two brothers, James Joseph Losch, Frank Patrick Losch and two sisters, Susan Elizabeth Butler and Mary Ann Richey.
