Pauline V. Prill Klunk, 90, died peacefully at 9:30 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Jerseyville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.She was born in Greene County, Il. on Oct. 29, 1920, the last surviving of eight children born to the late Robert & Arbelia (Hall) Powell.Pauline was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church and retired as a Matron with the Jersey Community Unit School District #100.Surviving are a daughter & son in law, Marie & Richard Woelfel of Jerseyville; two grandchildren, Christine Bane, and her husband, John of Snyder, Tx., and Mark Woelfel of Fieldon; three great grandchildren & their spouses, Callie & Kevin Hildebrand of Katy, Tx., , Andrew & Cassandra Bane of Snyder, Tx., and Brett Woelfel of Fieldon; a great great grandson, Kale Bane; three step children, Pat Harmon of Alton, Bill Klunk, and his wife, Sandy , and Edward Klunk all of Jersevyille; and numerous step grandchildren & great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Charles Prill and Raymond Klunk; four brothers, Robert, Edward, Harold & William Powell; three sisters, Betsy Powell, Mary Logan, and Norma Jean Wisdom.Visitation will be from 4 p.m., Tuesday until time of funeral Mass at 6 p.m. at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville. Father William Hembrow will officiate.Private family burial will take place Wednesday at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic Schools of Jerseyville.Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of the arrangements.
