Paul Irvin Holland, 62, died at 10:02 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home in Alton. Born December 15, 1961 in Alton, he was the son of Norma (Wigger) Holland of Alton and the late George Anthony Holland. Paul graduated from Marquette Catholic High School in Alton and was a school bus driver for Illinois Central School Bus. He was an avid gardener and worked as a landscaper for a private estate for many years. Along with his mother, who dearly loved him, he is survived by two sisters, Vicky Saylor (Becki) of Alton and Georgia Wolters (Steven) of Brighton. No services are scheduled. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
