Paul George Goldasich Jr., 68, of Mount Olive, IL, died at his residence on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 1:17 am.
He was born April 4, 1956, in Granite City, IL to Paul George Goldasich Sr. & Margaret Gazo Goldasich. He married Tonya J. Spencer Goldasich in 1992 in Carlinville, IL.
He was a retired sergeant for the Macoupin County Sheriff's Department. Paul was also a helicopter pilot, firearms instructor and armorer. He was a former Mt. Olive Firefighter as well as a Tamburitzans member and NRA member. Paul was trustee of the Litchfield Southern Baptist Church.
He is survived by his spouse, Tonya Goldasich of Mt Olive, IL, brother, Jim Goldasich of Staunton, IL, sister in law, Rachel Greer of Gillespie, IL and brother in law, LeMonte (Cathy) Spencer of Morton, IL.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Funeral services are Friday, February 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld. Burial will be at Chapman Cemetery, Mt. Olive, IL.
