Patrick “P-Dubb” Wethington

Patrick “P-Dubb” Wethington, 50, entered into eternal rest at 11:50 am Monday November 15, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis with his family by his side.



He was born on May 13, 1960 in Grand Junction, Colorado the son of the late Joseph Wethington Sr. and Dorothy (Hatfield) Wethington.



He married Peggy (Skaggs) Dodd on March 17, 2000.  She survives.



He was a freshman baseball coach for Marquette Catholic High School and he loved coaching & being with the kids.  He was also an IHSA official for basketball, baseball and for many years football.  When he was able, he loved to go fishing with his wife.



In addition to his wife, Peggy, he is also survived by two daughters, Ashlee Wethington at home, and Emily Dodd of Fosterburg; a son Eric Dodd and his wife Lacey of Alton; three grandchildren, Heather Lynn Booth, Morgan Booth and MacKenzie Dodd, two brothers and sisters-in-law; W. Joseph Wethington Jr. of Grand Junction, CO, and John & Nanette Wethington of Alton, two sisters Kathryn Wethington of Alton, and Regina Wethington of Roxana, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lois & Steve Laird of Alton, Kay & Kelsey Mathis of Granite City, Jill Delisle of Worden and a brother-in-law, Dan Skaggs of Granite City, mother-in-law, Virginia Skaggs and several aunt, uncles, cousins and a niece Ann Krueger.



In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wethington, two sisters, Maureen Redgate & Stephanie Wethington, a niece Katie Redgate and a father-in-law, Lee Skaggs.



According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.



A memorial visitation will be from 10 am until time of services at 11 am Saturday November 20, 2010 at Marquette Catholic High School Gymnasium with Rev. Dr. Ken Morgan.



Memorials may be made to his daughter, Ashlee Wethington.
