Patricia Maxine “Waters” Hester, 50, entered into Heaven on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at her home after an eight month battle with cancer, under the care of family and friends.
She was born on April 8, 1960 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Robert and Norma (Harper) Waters.
Patricia was the store manager at Casey’s General Store.
She is survived by her three loving children, Eve Elizabeth Rose of Wood River, Dennis (DJ) Lee Rose Jr. of East Alton and Carol Marie Rose of Lakeland, FL; her mother, Norma Minor of Cottage Hills; her loving and devoted boyfriend, Gary Richards; her godparents, Arthur and Lee Sheppard of Bethalto; her step brother, Kenneth Moyer of Moro; a special friend, EJ Bouldin and innumerable relatives and co-workers and her dog, Jodee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Waters, a sister, Carol, her stepmother, Naomi; her maternal grandparents, George and Irene Harper, her paternal grandparents, George and Ethel Waters and her loving husband, Daniel “Bo” Hester..
A memorial visitation will be from 5 until a service at 6 pm on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 1st Assembly of God Church of East Alton with Pastor Timothy Keller officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network or the 1st Assembly of God Church in East Alton..
