Patricia JoAnne Waterman, 88, passed away 1:54 am, Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Integrity Healthcare in Wood River.
Born September 26, 1932 in Zalma, MO, she was the daughter of William Otis and Cecile (Cox) Cato.
Patricia had worked as a secretary for Saybolt Petroleum Inspectors for 30 years retiring in 1990. She then became a secretary for Conoco-Phillips before retiring again in 1998.
She was a member of Vaughn Hill Church of Christ and the Lewis and Clark Historical Society.
On July 1, 1952 in East Alton, she married Robert "Bob" Waterman. He died November 14, 2009.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie Waterman and Crystal (George) Winterberg all of Wood River; two grandchildren, Katelyn (Jared) Venhaus of St. Louis, Ben Winterberg of Wood River; brother, Kelly (Zelda) Cato of Godfrey; and sister, Mercedena Burns of Bethalto.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three sisters, Audra Reddick, Paulette Tarrant and Jeanette Hartley.
Graveside service and burial will be conducted at 1 pm, Friday, January 8 in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. Paul Joiner will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation in lieu of flowers.
