Patricia Jane Traitor, 64, went to sing in Heaven at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her home.

  Born Feb. 23, 1949 she was the daughter of C. Wayne and Louise (Lewey) Thayer of Greenfield, Ill.

  She worked as a risk manager at Wood River Township Hospital and Alton Memorial Hospital.  Later she was a liability analyst for the Illinois State Medical Society.  She loved music and singing, and her beloved grandchildren.  She was a dedicated member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights, and served as Parish Visitor.

  Surviving are two daughters, Erika (Tony) Ramirez of Piasa and Tiffany (Jeremy) Nairn of Shipman; a stepson, Patrick (Carmen) Traitor of Jacksonville, N.C.; 3 grandchildren, Madelaine, Morgann and Mylie Ramirez; and a brother, Robert (Karen) Thayer of Bertram, Tex.

  Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 at Paynic Home for Funerals.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights.

  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Greenfield. 

  Memorials may be given for the benefit of Madelaine, Morgann and Mylie Ramirez in an account at Laclede Credit Union and will also be accepted at the funeral home.
