Patricia Ann Meyer, 92, died at 12:40 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022, at Jerseyville Manor.
Born July 8, 1929, in Alton, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Meta (Beiser) Meyer. Pat retired from the classified advertising department at the Alton Telegraph. She served for 40 years on the Board of Oasis Women’s Center, was a loyal volunteer at Caravan Resale Shop, and was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Lou Meyer of Jerseyville and Susan Hilyer of Clanton, Alabama, a nephew, Steve Hilyer (Stephanie Tate), and dear friends, Marilyn LaMaster, Charlotte Stetson, and Margarette Trushel.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey. Father Ben Unachukwu, OMV will officiate. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
