Norman Goff, Sr., 82 of Jerseyville passed away Friday March 8, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 6, 1930 in Sherman, MO to Edgar and Alma Jane (Null) Goff. He married Jane Daves May 29, 1954 in Bethalto, IL. Norman worked for Port A Crib in Ballwin, MO for 20 years, Duncan Foundry in Alton, Olin, Klin Gas and Beverly Farms before retiring. Once retired, he was always on call for anyone who needed a repair. He was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Godfrey.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Goff of Jerseyville; son, Norman “Eddie” Goff Jr of Jerseyville; three daughters and three sons in law, Theresa and Dennis Greer of Kane, Beverly and Christopher Bock of Godfrey and Sharon and Carl Schaaff of Jerseyville; 14 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and a sister and brother in law, Ruby and Robert Jarnagin of Bethalto.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Daves; grandson, Ayden Joseph Figge and Half sisters, Clara Immekus, Lucille West, Minnie Baush and Betty Dependehl.
Visitation Tuesday March 12 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Gospel Tabernacle in Godfrey where services will take place Wednesday at 11am. Pastor Alfred Daves officiating.
