Norma “Susie” Fraser, 75, passed away at 1:05 pm Sunday, June 30, 2013 at NHC Healthcare with her family by her side.
She was born March 1, 1938 in Clinton County, IL, the daughter of Franklin and Helen (Coigny) Strotheide.
She married Harry “Bug” L. Fraser on July 4, 1959 in Highland, IL. He passed away June 3, 2004
Susie was a registered nurse for 56 years. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto and currently was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Missouri. She was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching her favorite player “Yadier Molina”.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Rhonda and Donald Hajek of San Antonia, TX, Ronnie and Angie Fraser of Cook Station, MO, Gary and Kelly Fraser of Chesterfield, MO, Harry Jr. and Jennifer Fraser of Caseyville, IL and Terry Breden of Godfrey; five grandchildren, Fraser Hajek, Farrynn Hajek, Jessica Fraser, Paige Fraser and Maya Fraser; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Louis and Carol Strotheide of Jadwin, MO and John Strotheide of Jadwin, MO.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Visitation will continue from 11 am until service time at 1 pm Friday, July 5, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor David Kettner officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
