Nellie Schlobohm, 89, died at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born February 7, 1921 in Alton, the daughter of the late Ernest E. and Clara J. (Klasner) Blair.
She was a member of Saint Ambrose Catholic Church.
She is survived by 5 children; Michael Schlobohm and his wife Judy of Oshkosh, Nebraska, Maureen Trout and her husband John of Kimbal, Neb, Stephen Schlobohm and his wife Judy of Georgetown, TX, Ellen C. Bell of Port Hadlock, Washington and Candace Hovey and her husband Scott of Godfrey. 13 grandchildren; Michelle Keeter, Ernie Schlobohm, Brandon Schlobohm, Jason Trout, Carl Trout, Matthew Schlobohm, Becca Pruse, John Schlobohm, Michael Purcell, Sally Purcell, Rusty Foust, William Foust and Sara Loftus and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; James E. Blair and Ernest E. Blair.
Per her wishes her body was donated to Washington University.
A memorial visitation will be Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Village Chapel. Father Steve Pohlman will officiate.
