Ned Esquivel, 74, passed away at 11:02am on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at St. Louis University Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1936 in East Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Demico and Raphaelita Esquivel. Survivors include two daughters and a son in law: Lisa and Eric Minor of Placentia, California, Rafaela Reynolds of Alton, one son and daughter in law: Joseph and Cherilyn Esquivel of Alton, eight grandchildren. His sisters are Virgie, Sally Nowlan, Ruth, Rosie, his brothers are: Demico Jr. and David.
He was formerly employed as a welder in the steel mill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested to the Activity Fund at Skyline Towers in Alton.
