Nadine G. Phillips, 89, passed away 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton.
Born on June 8, 1926 in Grassy, MO, she was the daughter of Charles and Leola (Bess) Thomas.
She had been a customer service clerk in the J.C. Penny Catalog Department before retiring.
She married Jack S. Phillips on August 19, 1943 in Alton. He died May 22, 1989.
Surviving are a son, Mark (Marsha) Phillips of Hartford; two daughters, Mary Poston of Bethalto and Marlene Kasmir of Garden Grove, CA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren;and a sister, Anna Lee (Gene) Hopkins of Cottage Hills.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; a son, Mike Phillips; two grandsons, Greg Poston and John Dourson; five brothers, Warren, Lowell, Sterling, Herbert and Raymond Thomas; and five sisters, Helen Loafman, Riva Williams, Glenda Hall, Vonda Sue Thomas and Eula Pape.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated.
A Reflections of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
