Millie Jean Robinson, 48, passed away at 9:48 am on Monday, August 15, 2011, at her home under the care of BJC Hospice.
She was born on November 22, 1962 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Merrill and Gloria Jean (McClusky) Jacoby.
Millie enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a former member of the Alton Eagles #254 F.O.E. She enjoyed bowling, classic cars, rock music, Jeff Gordon and Nascar and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and other family.
She is survived by her father and step mother, Merrill *Mike* and Barb Jacoby of Godfrey; her children and their spouses, Richard and Ashley Hartman of Highland, Robert and Kristen Robinson of Arkansas; John and Rachel Robinson of of Marine, IL and Christian *Christy* Robinson of Cottage Hills; a stepson, Joe Leach of Collinsville; thirteen grandchildren, Tyler, Brennan, Ethan, Mason, Rhaelynn, Cadence, Cora, Rylan, Dakota, William, Crystal, Cassidy and Hailey; her husband, Ralph Gene Leach of Bethalto; a sister and brother-in-law, April and Kevin Spurgeon of Roxana; six brothers, Michael Jacoby of Alton, Jerry and Renee Pruitt of Cottage Hills, John and his companion, Steve Pruitt and Donald and Carol Pruitt of Cottage Hills; Step brothers Donnie Reed of Godrey, Kevin Reed and his wife Brandi of Litchfield, IL, her nieces and nephews, Dylan, Nicole, Layla, Joyce, Matthew, John, Brooke, Brittney and Julie; her former ex-husband, Danny Robinson of Cahokia; her mother-in-law, Joanne Leach; her sisters-in-law, Chris Witwell, Lisa Leach, Mary Pat and Craig Thilman and a brother-in-law, Jeff and Verna Leach.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, John & Mildred Jacoby and Howard and Bertha McClusky and a brother, Jeff Pruitt, and two step mothers Joyce Pruitt Jacoby and Anita Jacoby.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, August 18, 2011 with Pastor Tim Gill officiating.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
