Mildred Ruth Wiltshire, 93, passed away at 12:37 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born Apr. 23, 1921 in Gallatin County, Illinois, she was a daughter of Guy and Madeline (Ellis) Moore.
She married John M. Wiltshire March 24, 1939 in Henderson, Ky. He passed away Dec. 17, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda McCreery of East Alton; a son, Charles M. (Carol) Wiltshire of Rosewood Heights; a granddaughter, Jennifer (Ross) Accardi; a great grandson Enzo Accardi; and a sister, Wilma (Joe) Patton of West Frankfort, Ill.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Paul McCreery; sisters Irene Mitchell, Mary Hartsburg, Helen Brinkley and Ann Blaize; and brothers Clarence, Charles, Glen and Bill Moore.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14. Pastor Robert Patton will officiate. Graveside services with Pastor Joe Patton will be at 3 p.m. at Hogan Cemetery in Shawneetown, Ill.
