Dorsey, IL - Mickey Lawrence, 46, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at his home.
He was born May 2, 1970 in Alton, IL to Sharon K. (Spencer) Graner and Bobby Gene Lawrence.
Mickey had worked for Laclede Steel and later Alton Steel as a Quality Control Metallurgist. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing and had attained the rank of Eagle Scout in his younger years. He loved entertaining, playing cards and visiting with and cooking for friends.
Survivors include his father and step-mother: Bobby Gene & Helen Lawrence of St. Louis, MO; and 2 brothers, Mike Lawrence of Alamogordo, NM and Jon Lawrence of East Alton, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon K. Graner.
Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sun. June 5, 2016 at Paynic Home for Funerals. Burial will be private at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
