Michael Steven Lake, age 56, of Collinsville, IL, born January 27, 1965, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away at his residence on October 2, 2021.
Michael was employed as a precision machinist. He loved bow hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He especially loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Dee Lake, and a sister, Tammy L. Lake.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon (nee Savage) Lake; two daughters: Kimber L. Lake of Louisburg, KS, and Michelle J. Lake of Collinsville, IL; a sister, Cindy (Mark) Gillis of Collinsville; his aunt, Judy Savage of Edwardsville, IL; a niece, Jackie (Zac) Edmondson of Collinsville; great-nephew and great-nieces, Jackson, Ryleigh and Evelynn.
Memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021, at St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville, IL.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m., immediately following the visitation, with Rev. Katie Jo Bielke officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Collinsville.
