Michael Thaxton

Michael Allen Thaxton, 62, died at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his home. Born June 27, 1958 in Alton, he was the son of David Lee and Dorothy Y. (Keifer) Thaxton. Michael worked in the construction field. Surviving are two daughters, Tricia Thaxton and Melissa Kozonasky both of Alton, one son, Michael Thaxton of Godfrey, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a brother, Ben Wallace of Alton. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
