Melody Gail Lynn, 51, went to be with the Lord at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born March 2, 1966 in Alton, she was a daughter of James Harrison and Patricia (Treadway) Janos.
She married Rick Raymond Lynn May 30, 1987 in South Roxana. He survives in Rosewood Heights. She loved her family and loved her dogs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, John Raymond Lynn and James Joseph Lynn, both of Rosewood Heights; a sister, Susan Potts of Troy, Ill.; 11 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews; her mother-in-law, Barb Lynn of Wood River; and her sister-in-law, Barb Matson and her husband Tom of West Lafayette, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cheryl Nolte; a brother, Steven James Harrison; and her father-in-law, Raymond Joseph Lynn.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 6 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7. Burial will follow at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
