Melodie Louise 'WeeGee' Clark, 70, passed away unexpectedly at 10:40 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2021 at Jersey Community Hospital.
She was born on August 28, 1950 and was lovingly raised by her parents, Gladys Vera (Martin) Davis and Wilbert V. 'Webb' Davis.
WeeGee spent the majority of her life residing in Jerseyville and graduated with the class of 1968 from Jersey Community High School.
She never knew a stranger and had one of the most loving and gentle hearts. She was always there for anyone in need, making her a perfect fit for as a Home Health Care Aide with Jersey County Health Department.
Surviving are her father, Wilbert 'Webb' Davis of Jerseyville; a brother and sister in-law, Thomas and Doris Davis of East Alton; a half sister, Sandy Hazelwonder and a half brother, Clifford White; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her biological father, James White; a brother, John T. 'Ole' Davis and a half sister, Cathy White.
Per her wishes, cremation rights will be accorded and no services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to The Family, in care of Crawford Funeral Home, 1308 State Highway 109, Jerseyville, IL 62052, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
