Melba Lee Goacher, 78, passed away at 8:36 am Monday September 12, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL.
She was born on June 29, 1933 in Grafton, IL the daughter of Charles Wesley & Freda (Bartlett) Wallace.
She married Darrell D. Goacher Sr. on October 16, 1948 in Bethalto. He survives.
She is survived by four children and their spouses; Jeanie & Clyde Partridge of Park Hills, MO, Darrell D. Jr. & Judy Goacher of East Alton, Carl Wayne & Janet Goacher of Queen Creek, AZ, and Teresa Leamon of Cottage Hills; eight grandchildren, several grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Hopper of Port Angeles, WA, Inis Owens of East Alton, and Charlene Williams of Bethalto, two brothers, Tommy Wallace of Cottage Hills and Mel Wallace of Douglasville, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by, a son, Richard Lee Goacher, one sister, Annabelle Whorl
Visitation will be from 4 pm until time of funeral services at 7 pm Thursday September 15, 2011 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
