Mary Lee Crabtree Walters was born March 10, 1923 in Winchester, IL, daughter of Thomas and Getha Crabtree. She passed away on September 29, 2012 in Odessa, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband John B. Walters, a son Gary Bowman, grandson, Eric Williams, brothers, Howard and Gene Crabtree, and a sister Ruby Kirkpatrick.
Surviving is a daughter, Dianna Williams-Meisenheimer (Bob), grandsons Rahn Williams, Michael, Steven (Tabathia) Meisenheimer all of Odessa, TX. A sister, Marty Beard (John) of Tyler, TX. Great grandchildren Haley, Carlie, Raylynn, Jimmy and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Mary Lee served on the Diaconate Board at Godfrey Baptist Church and was employed by Alton Medical Group for twenty-six years when she retired and moved to Odessa, TX, with her family.
Memorials may be made to Compas Hospice Odessa TX, Crane Rehab Nursing Center in Crane TX, and Godfrey Baptist Church, Godfrey IL.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Alton, IL.
