Mary Jo (Wade) Stillar, 85, died at 10:35 a.m., Friday, October 19, 2012 at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home after years of declining health.She was born in Jerseyville on July 8, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Heber & Mabel (Ayres) Wade.Mary was lovingly raised along with 14 other siblings, and she learned early on the value of hard work and a loving, tight knit family.She graduated from Jersey Township High School, and was employed as a secretary for over 35 years for Union Local #525 in Wood River.She married Cecil Ray "Tiny" Stillar on May 1, 1949 at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Dow, and together they shared 45 years together before his death on Sept. 5, 1994.Although she & Tiny never had children of their own, they devoted much time and love to their nieces and nephews.Surviving are two sisters, Laura Jamieson and Ida May Anderson Pickel both of Jerseyville; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Everett, Lee, James and Charles Wade; and seven sisters, Esther Yocom, Florence Butler, Virginia Wendt, Helen Sunn, Joyce Plume, Irene Sample, and Ruth Cook.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., on Thursday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.A funeral procession will leave the funeral home for graveside services at 1 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the Church of the Nazarene in Jerseyville, where she was a member
