Mary Starkey

Mary Jane Starkey, 65, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born March 8, 1955 in Highland, she was the daughter of Clifford "Sonny" and Louise (Harper) Crook.
Jane was a store manager at the Wood River McDonald's before retiring and becoming a bus driver for the East Alton District 13 Schools.
On April 13, 1974 in Wood River, she married Daniel Starkey. He survives.
Surviving also are a daughter, Ciara (Devon) Scott; grandchildren, Gabriel and Juniper; brothers, Tom (Pam) Crook, Ken (Shirley) Crook, Ron (Michelle) Crook; sisters, Brenda McDonald, Pam Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Lee Roy and Flora Ella (Ancell) Starkey; and brothers-in-law, Daniel Ellis and Dennis Starkey.
No services have been scheduled at this time.
