Mary Ogle Crawford, 79, formerly of Rosewood Heights, passed away at 4:16am on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on August 11, 1943, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Charles and Orphie (Whitrock) Burtman. Survivors include her children: Melinda (Mark) Gaffney, Crystal Ridlon, Tarron Blackwell, Billy Parnell, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends.
Mary was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and was known more for being a karaoke singer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three daughters: Carolyn, Cindy, Lisa, a granddaughter: Catelyn, a grandson: Brady, and three brothers and sisters.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.
