Marvin Shuey of Lone Pine, Ca. passed away on Saturday December 8, 2012 in Reno Nevada.He was born August 19, 1935 in Gillespie, Illinois to George and Lula (Blevins) Shuey. He married Brandine McKenzie in Covina California in 1956. She preceded him in death in May 2012.He retired from Inyo County Transit Authority and the Bishop California Post Office. Surviving are three children, Marva (Dan) Rife of Rancho Cordova, Ca., Wes ( Jennifer) Shuey, Fernley, Nevada, and Corrine Shuey & Nick Neff of Bishop California. There are four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Alberta Quirk, Medora, Joan Martin, Patty Dillard and Diana Durbin all of Gillespie, and Daisy Spendlove of Roy Utah.In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Laverna Caveny, Marian Duda and Georgia Shuey. Three brothers Loren (Ted) Shuey, Edgar Shuey, James Shuey.His wishes were to be cremated with services to be held on December 29 at the Church of the Nazarene in Lone Pine California.
