Martin (Marty) Chandler, 48, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at home.
He was born on May 31, 1967, in Marietta (Washington County) Ohio. The son of Cecil and Nancy (Ellis) Chandler.
Marty graduated from Fort Frye High School in Beverly, Ohio in 1985. In later years he worked for the refinery industry in a hazmat capacity, traveling to various states before settling in the river bend area. At the time of his death he was employed at Wal-Mart in Wood River. He was an avid sports fanatic.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Janssen Chandler; a brother, Shane Milan Chandler; his father, Cecial Dwight Chander Jr and many loved ones and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Lee (Ellis) Chandler who passed on August 19, 1996.
A memorial service for Marty will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 1pm, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Godfrey.
