Martha Killion, 82, passed away on August 8, 2021 at Jerseyville Manor. She was born on September 3, 1938 to Louis & Rosamond “Rose” (Fleming) Killion in St. Louis, Mo.
The second oldest of seven children, God gifted her with humor and wit to help her through some very tough times throughout her life. This world is blessed to have had Martha in it for as long as she was, having suffered a brain injury when she was just a girl. She was always a fashionable lady with an ability to laugh at life's many jokes. She was an executive secretary for Monsanto and was a member of Holy Ghost Church in Jerseyville.
She is survived by her brothers: Richard & Theresa Killion of Jerseyville, William & Daneen Killion of Edwardsville, Robert & Yvonne Killion of Des Peres, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Rita Petrik, Joanne Howell, and Carol Greeley.
A visitation will be held on August 21, 2021 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Church Catholic Church with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am. Father Hyland Smith will officiate the service and burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jerseyville Manor.
