Marsha D. Triebes, 63, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at her home.
Born Sept. 19, 1961 in Alton, she was a daughter of Arthel and Diana (Medlock) Akers.
Marsha married Paul M. Triebes Oct. 19, 1985. He survives in Jerseyville. She worked for over 25 years at Shop ‘N Save until their closing. She then worked as a cashier for Argosy Casino in Alton. Marsha was first and foremost a loving wife, mom, and grandma.
In addition to her husband of nearly 40 years, she is survived by her children, Karyn (Scott) Schulte of Godfrey, Kevin (Amanda) Triebes and Kyle Triebes, all of Jerseyville; 4 grandchildren, Aspyn and Nolan Schulte and Roy and Sawyer Triebes; and her siblings, Arthel (Leanna) Akers of Brighton, Cindy (Mike) Wielgus of Granite City, and Mike (Sharon) Akers of St. Charles, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Greg Akers, Steve Akers, and Vicky Madison.
Memorial visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 16 at Paynic Home for Funerals.
