Marjorie Fredenberg, 96, of Bethalto, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Christian Northeast in St. Louis.
She was born on October 27, 1924 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Harry and Hattie (Sugg) Ray.
Marjorie worked at Owens Illinois Glass as a packer for 28 years before retirement in 1987. She was a lifetime member of Meadowbrook 1st Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved life and helping people.
Survivors include her children, Robert Goodbrake, Jr of South Roxana, David (Janice) Goodbrake Sr of South Roxana, and Steven (Jackie) Goodbrake of South Roxana; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert (Margaret) Ray of Dow; a sister, Marie Amison of Dow;
Along with her parents and husbands, Robert Goodbrake, Sr, Charles Dale and Earl Fredenberg, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Caroline Goodbrake; two brothers, Edgar (Marjorie) Ray and Richard (Lucille) Ray
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial service will be private, Rev. Vickie Hastings will officiate, followed by burial at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
