Marion Simon Pomatto, 83, of Mount Olive, IL, died at his residence on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 12:36 p.m.
He was born March 6, 1941, in Livingston, IL to Mario Pomatto & Mary Warlock Pomatto.
He married Nancy Gretkk Pomatto on August 3, 1963 in Litchfield, IL. She preceded him in death on June 1, 1995.
He was retired after having been a maintenance foreman for Hano Business Forms. Marion enjoyed flying remote control planes, cutting grass and wood working.
He is survived by his children, Simon Pomatto of Mt Olive, IL, Annette (Bill) Korunka of Mt Olive, IL, David (Shannon) Pomatto of Mount Olive, IL, grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Cassie, Nathan, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, JoAnn (Chuck) Buckner of Gillespie, IL, Julia Morgan of Terre Haute, IN.
Marion was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, brother in law, Jim Morgan.
No public services will be held. Memorials are suggested to Vitas Hospice.
