Marilyn Virginia Albers, 91, passed away Saturday January 19, 2012 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO.
She was born on April 3, 1920 in Alton, the daughter of Raymond Jerome & Lena Charlotte (Heffner) Factor.
She married Harold Robert Albers on November 1, 1941 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto. He preceded her in death in October 2002.
She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto and a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Oakville, MO.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Brenda Albers of Fenton, MO; two grandchildren, Jason Albers of Fenton, MO and Shelley (Vince) Sumner of Bethalto; and three grandchildren, Kelsye and Emily Albers, and Vincent Sumner.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Willard Meyer and Pastor Mark Hofferber officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
