Marie Louise Baze, 69, passed away 4:20 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Integrity Healthcare in Wood River.
Born in St. Louis on March 29, 1946, she was the daughter of Albert Leo and Jessie (Moore) Burns.
She married Vernon Baze on March 23, 1964 at the Cherry St. Baptist Church in Alton. He died January 23, 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Monty Baze of Jerseyville, Charles Baze of Cottage Hills; two daughters, Kimberly Deardeuff of Cottage Hills, Dawn Hammond of Granite City;12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Burns of East Alton, Mike Burns of Wood River; two sisters, Ruth Henrion of Roxana and Linda Allsman of Wood River.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son, Randy Lee Baze, Sr.; grandson, Aaron Wesley Bricker; and special nephew, Darin Burns.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Saturday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River
