Margaret Helen (Steward) Ringhausen, 81, of Hardin died on December 18, 2024, at 5:50 p.m. at Jersey Community Hospital.
She was born on September 15, 1943, to the late Sylvester and Helen (Blackory) Steward. She married David Ringhausen on April 7, 1963. He survives.
Survivors includes three daughters, Sherrie (Tim) Cook of Eldred, Illinois, Tammy Ringhausen of Hardin, and Marsha (Kent) Hopkins of Bunker Hill, Illinois; one son, Russell (Jenifer Price) of Coffeen, Illinois and one son-in-law, David Fackleman of Tioga, Pennsylvania; one brother, Wanye Steward of Brighton, Illinois; five sisters, Marie McFarlene of Perkins, Illinois, Doris Moore of Creve Coeur, Illinois, Patty (Bill) Holland of Campbell Hill, Illinois, Ruth Steward of Bloomington, Illinois, and Dorothy Steward of Perryville, Missouri; Five grandchildren, Elizabeth Parker, Arron Cook, Isaac Hopkins, Joshua Hopkins, and Jesse Ringhausen; and eight great grandchildren Hannah Parker, Nathan Parker, Callen Hopkins, Kennedi Hopkins, Cassie Cook, Liam Hopkins, Caleb Cook, and Kodi Hopkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one daughter, Barbara Fackleman.
Visitation will be held Friday December 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin. Burial follow at the Borlin Cemetery in Eldred.
