Margaret "Madge" M. (nee: Franklin) Renois, 96, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Riverside Rehab and Healthcare Center in Alton.
Born May 19, 1924 in West Frankfort, IL, she was the daughter of Howard John and Pauline Marie (Wiist) Franklin.
On April 1, 1952 in Alton she married Adrian William Renois. He died in June of 1984.
Madge worked as an x-ray technician for Bulll Shoals (AR) Hospital. She was a very active member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and bowling.
She is survived by her sister, Sally Davenport of Wood River; three nephews, Rick (Melinda) Brooks of Alton, John Torrez of Brighton, Kevin Horton of Marinette, WI; niece, Cindy Potts of Smithboro; several great nieces and nephews; and several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-daughter and her husband, Joan and Jack Wright; two sisters and brother-in-law, Delores "Dody" and William Brooks, Catherine "Kitty" Zimmerman, brother-in-law, Gary Davenport; three nieces, Ellen Scott, Patricia Zimmerman, Petty Officer 1/C Annette Horton, USCG; and nephew, Mark Torrez.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to Washington University School of Medicine.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at held in the Spring of 2021 at Sally Davenport's residence.
Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army in Alton, IL.
