Marcia Jean Wilson, 77, passed away at home peacefully Tuesday, October 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 11, 1945, to the late Curtis and Pearl (McQuality) Liley. She married the love of her life, Jesse Wilson, on February 24, 1973, he preceded her in death on October 11, 1995. They shared their love of trucking and Jesse supported Marcia in her love of horses.
Marcia was a 1963 graduate of Alton High School. Throughout the years she worked many jobs that she loved, her favorite being raising her children and caring for her horses.
Marcia is survived by her four children, Brian (Lola) Mans, Rebecca (Joseph) Caselton, Lee (Elaine) Mans, and Patricia (Don Gumm) Wilson; grandchildren, Katie Mans, Kellie Mans, Riley (Molly) Caselton, Mason Caselton, Avery Caselton, and Zach Wilson; one great granddaughter, Colette Caselton; two brothers, Steve (Marylu) Liley and Randy (Kim) Liley; one sister, Brenda Georgewitz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services are being held.
