Marcella Ruth Bolin, 93, of Brighton, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 27, 1932, in Hettick, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Roberts).
Marcella married Floyd Bolin on August 6, 1949, in Carlinville. He survives.
She was a home maker who enjoyed cooking and hosting family meals. Marcella enjoyed going to car shows, sewing, and never missed any of her grandchildrens sporting events.
Marcella is survived by her husband, Floyd; son Terry (Peggy) Bolin of Brighton; two grandchildren Terry Michael (Nikki) Bolin and Justin (Alicia) Bolin; three great grandchildren Eddie (Lindsey) Bolin, Cami Bolin, and Cali Bolin; two great great grandchildren Wrenleigh Bolin and Junie Bolin; five brothers Fred Roberts, Sam Roberts, Lester (Spatsie) Roberts, Russell (Linda) Roberts and Donnie (Mary) Roberts; two sisters Evelyn Walters and Shirley (James) Bentley; sister in law Betty Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews, with a very special niece Carrie Ross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary; two brothers Carl Roberts and Bill Roberts; seven brothers and sisters in law Thelma Roberts, Betty Roberts, Sharon Roberts, Darrell Walters, Robert Ross, Judy Ross Marshall, and Edith Bolin Long; mother in law Agnes Mohr.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of funeral service at noon on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery.
