Mable “Louise” Street 86 of Alton passed away at 11:10 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 24, 1927 in Alton to Charles and Mildred (Massears) Blair. She married Roy W. Street November 7, 1946 in Alton. She worked for 10 years at Owens Illinois Glass.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Roy W. Street of Alton; son, Donald Roy Street of Alton; daughters, Barbara Louise and William Webber of Alton and Cathy Ann and Thomas Bensman of Mountain Home, AR; three grandchildren, Jeremy Street and his wife Leslie Street St. Louis, MO, Tyler Street of Alton and Alyssa Killebrew and her husband Brandon of Rapid City SD; three great grandchildren, Elliot Matthew Street, Adam Jeremy Street and Ethan Lee Killebrew and sister, Ruth Marie McNelly of Godfrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosalie Dodd and Helen Dodd Lewis and brothers, Edwin, Charles and Henry Blair.
Visitations will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights where services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Warren Brown officiating.
