LuElla K. Halm, 83, died at 7:40 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Methodist Village in Godfrey.
She was born December 2, 1928 in Rochester, IL the daughter of Lowell B. and Beulah (Dickerson) Miller. On August 2, 1947 she married David G. Halm and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1988.
She is survived by five children: David (Connie) Halm of West Frankfort, IL, Diana (Doug) Sheary of Godfrey, Dixie (Gary) Langley of Austin, TX, Debra (John) Church of Virginia Beach, VA and Denise Ottolini and Sean Langley of Springfield, IL.Six Grandchildren: David Robert Halm of Alton, Andrea (Jeff) Frankford of Alton, Rachel (Matt) Henry of Godfrey, Jennifer and Kimberly Church of Virginia Beach, VA and Ahlienna Langley of Springfield, IL, seven great-grandchildren: Kori, Lainie and Jeffrey Frankford of Alton and Jordan, Dalton, Hayden and Devon Halm all of Alton, one brother: David (Jan) Miller of Rochester, IL, a sister-in-law; Sally Miller of Benton, KY, a sister-in-law; Donna (Rick) Caldwell of Rochester, IL, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother; James Miller of Benton, KY and one infant grandson; Johnathan Church.
Services will be private.
