Lucresia Dell (Epps) Baker age 67 received eternal rest on Saturday June 6, 2015 at her home. She was born June 29, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the second of 4 children born to the union of Frank and Cordella Epps.  Both parents, one brother Cortez Batson, and one nephew Gilbert O. Vaughn, preceded her in death. She received her education in the St. Louis Public School System, and as a graduate of both O’Fallon High School and Vashon Technical, as a seamstress. Lucresia was a member of Greater St. James Baptist Church in Alton, where she served faithfully as an usher. Sister Baker is survived by  her ex husband of 39 years, Lee A. Baker, and 5 children: Gordon Bryant, Kimberlee Bryant-Drysdale, Andre Bryant, Alvin Bryant and Jason Bryant, grandchildren Natasha Bryant, Justin Bryant, Nicco Bryant, Xavier Bryant, Brandon Bryant, Allen Turner, Briana Bryant, Taraka Bryant, Bobby Cook, Isaac Drysdale, Summer Drysdale, Shantal Drysdale, Brielle Baker, Casey Locke, Tamra Chamness and Haley Chamness; and three great grand children, two siblings, Loretta Vaughn and Lonnie Epps; five in-laws: Chris Drysdale, Rhonda Bryant, Kim Bryant, Patty Bryant and Christole Beard; two special friends Nora Woods and Carla Grim and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visitation Saturday June 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of 2;00 p.m. Expressions of memories or kind words at 1:30 p.m. Service will be held atCathy M.
