Lucille Dustmann

Lucille J. Dustmann, 89, of Bethalto, passed away at 6:25 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.

She was born on February 25, 1927, in Moro Township, the daughter of August and Louise (Stunkel) Cooper.She was a lifetime member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She was also a member of Bethalto and Wood River Senior Citizens and the Women’s Guild of Midway.Lucille married Wilfred Carl Dustmann on October 14, 1945, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Midway. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2011.Survivors include one son and his wife, Dennis and Nikoleta Dustmann of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandsons, Douglas Dustman, and David Dustmann and his wife Crystal; five great grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Cooper.In addition to her husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Norman Cooper and Vernon Cooper.Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Funeral Service will begin at 10 am Friday, September 9, 2016, at St. John’s United Church of Christ with Pastor Lori Schafer officiating.Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.Memorials may be given to St. John’s United Church of Christ.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
